Finally! She turns around!
I suspect many of you know this spinning girl …

If not … here’s a little catch-up …
Apparently, the majority of people see it moving anti-clockwise and use more of their left brain. While those that see it moving clockwise are meant to be right brainers.
- Left brain:
- uses logic
- detail oriented
- facts rule
- words and language
- present and past
- math and science
- can comprehend
- knowing
- acknowledges
- order/pattern perception
- knows object name
- reality based
- forms strategies
- practical
- safe
- Right brain:
- uses feeling
- “big picture” oriented
- imagination rules
- symbols and images
- present and future
- philosophy & religion
- can “get it” (i.e. meaning)
- believes
- appreciates
- spatial perception
- knows object function
- fantasy based
- presents possibilities
- impetuous
- risk taking
Well … I’m not at all surprised to find myself in the “Right brain” group from this or any other test. But, it drove me a little crazy that I could *not* get her to spin the other way. I’d heard people say they could see her go both ways – but it seems that no matter how hard I looked and tried to talk myself into her moving the other direction, it simply didn’t seem possible.
Until tonight.
Phew. She still moves naturally clockwise for me – but after a serious concerted effort – I am now able to see her spinning the other direction.
I’m curious. Which way does she move for you?
